Creating External Links

To link to an external target

In the Edit Link dialog box, select External Target.
In the Target box, type the URL or other target information.
Doc-O-Matic does not verify the link target. Therefore, ensure that the target is valid and Doc-O-Matic can create a hyper link to it.
To link to the following external targets enter:

Output Format	External Help Topics	Web Page	File
In HTML	HTML Topic ID	http:// and the name of the Web page	File:// and the absolute path to the file.
In PDF		http:// and the name of the Web page	pdf:// filename.
In RTT		http:// and the name of the Web page
