Doc-O-Matic ignores all characters with the following ASCII codes:

Doc-O-Matic converts multiple white spaces (ASCII 9, CR, LF, ASCII 32) into exactly one space, as HTML layout engines do. 

In addition, Doc-O-Matic removes all newlines and white spaces in topic text.

• You can prevent Doc-O-Matic from removing white spaces and ignoring characters within a certain section by using section attributes.
• You can prevent Doc-O-Matic from removing line feeds and white spaces in a certain area of text by enclosing text in <pre> <pre/> tags.
