Localizing the Output

In each output there are several predefined words like Class, Group or Topic, names of folder topics such as Symbol Reference and the names of predefined sections. You can translate or replace these words. For example, use a translation when you write your documentation in another language or use other words for your documentation. 

For inserted phrases like feedback links and for section names there are two ways for your to translate them. You can translate them as any other predefined word in the dictionary file or you can change section names and inserted phrases on the corresponding Settings page.

  1. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Settings .
  2. Click the General Settings tab.
  3. Select General > Localization.
  4. Click New or Clone.
  5. Create a new .dic file and store it in your project folder.
  6. The new dictionary file opens.
  7. In the list enter your translation. For words with a format specifier (%s or %d) the translated entry must contain the same format specifiers.
  8. To change an existing translation click Edit.
  9. To use one of the dictionaries included in the Doc-O-Matic installation, select the file in the File box.
  1. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Settings .
  2. Click the General Settings tab.
  3. Select Sections.
