Comment Style

How to get here: In Settings on the General Settings tab, select [General Settings] > Documentation > Comment Style.

  1. In the Tabs expand box, enter the number of spaces to which tabs are expanded in your IDE editor such as Visual Studio or Delphi.
  2. If tabs are not expanded to the same number of spaces, Doc-O-Matic will not correctly handle your comment formatting.
  1. Type the character you want to use for the corresponding formatting as first character into the corresponding line.
  2. Doc-O-Matic uses this character to format your comments.

parameter/return value delimiter character A character that separates a parameter name or a return value and its description. 

tail Characters that indicate the end of a comment block or a section. Doc-O-Matic automatically removes these characters in the output. 

wall Characters that are written around comment blocks. Doc-O-Matic automatically removes these characters in the output.
