This section describes Doc-O-Matic main functionality. Doc-O-Matic:

• Parses C++, C#, Delphi, IDL, Java, JavaScript, VB.NET, MATLAB, ASPX, PHP and JSP files and displays source code symbols in a well structured hierarchy.
• Displays your source code comments in the Editor or the Topic Preview.
• Includes a fully functional Topic Editor for documenting your C++, C#, Delphi, IDL, Java, JavaScript, MATLAB, PHP and VB.NET source code.
• Includes QuickDoc a feature that helps you speed up your documentation process.
• Creates several output formats.
• Generates tables of contents, indexes, tables of symbols and body source code pages.

In Doc-O-Matic you can:

• Add source files, project files, HTML and plain text files to each project.
• Divide your project in several modules and create folders for your symbols.
• Adjust Doc-O-Matic to your way of describing code, if your source code is already documented.
• Describe code in your source code in a human readable way or use the popular comment styles XML Doc or Javadoc.
• Use the Contents Design Mode to structure your documentation.
• Create one or more configurations for each output format.
• Customize all Output formats by using Output Settings.
