The Doc-O-Matic Topic Editor provides you with the most common word-processing features such as inline styles, lists, paragraph formatting and tables. Using toolbar buttons, the shortcut menu, and shortcuts you can operate these features. You can find out more about Topic Editor commands in Topic Editor.
Most commands such as lists and character formatting (for example bold, underline, italic, subscript and superscript) are well known and are not explained. In the next sections you will learn how to format paragraphs as text, heading, preformat and code, how to edit links and images and how to insert tables and add a new color.
Notes
Doc-O-Matic is a single source authoring tool. Therefore, only basic formatting is applied in the Topic Editor. All other formatting character formatting, paragraph formatting, page layout and placement of links is applied for each output format separately.
Advanced User Information
The Topic Editor can process special characters that do not appear on your keyboard. To insert special characters such as ‰ use Windows character map and copy the special characters there.
