Doc-O-Matic creates table of contents that appear in a separate window in Help systems and as bookmarks in the PDF online document and table of contents pages for PDF, HTML Help systems and RTF.
There are several ways to customize the TOC. Doc-O-Matic shows each topic in the table of contents by default.
To remove topics from the TOC
Right-click somewhere in the topic hierarchy.
On the Manage tab, in the Design group, click Mode.
Do one of the following:
To remove the topic in all configurations from the TOC, turn on Apply Status Globally.
To remove the topic in all configurations from the TOC, turn off Apply Status Globally.
Select the topic that you do not want to include in the TOC in the topic hierarchy.
Clear the In TOCcheck box.
The subtopics of this topic are also removed from the TOC.
To set TOC titles
Use the Topic Title as TOC title. This is the default setting.
Set the TOC Title by symbol type on the Titles page.
Set the TOC Title for AutoDoc topics on the AutoDoc > AutoDoc Content > AutoDoc Titles page.
Change the TOC for each topic by using the TOC TitleTopic Property.
