Symbol Titles

How to get here: In Settings on the corresponding configuration tab, select AutoDoc > AutoDoc Content > Titles

  1. Switch to the Editor.
  2. Type the title in the Title or the TOC Title box in the Topic Properties.
  3. Type the title or toctitle tag in your source code.
  4. Type the XML compatible property tag and the title or toctitle attribute in your sourcecode.

The entry in the Link field determines which text is displayed for the links to this symbol type in the topic title link list and the Link section. The entry in the Link field for file is only applied to the file link in the topic title link list, but not to the file entry in the Container section.

index A listing of keywords and associated data that point to the location of more comprehensive information, such as topics. 

symbol topic A topic that is associated with a source code symbol. 

overloaded member functions Functions with the same name. The functions are distinguished by their parameter types, return value types or both. 

fully qualified symbol name A symbol name that includes the namespace and the class name of the symbol. 

symbol qualifier According to language specifications either dot (".") or :: are used as symbol qualifier in topic titles.
