The body of topic pages consists of the content (text) and the background of the page.
You have applied one of the four paragraph typesText , Heading, Codeand Preformat to your topic text. To format these paragraph types use the following Formatting Elements: Text, User Heading, PreformatText and Code. Text is only formatted using the Text Formatting Element if no special section formatting (predefined or user-defined) exists for this section. C formatted text and Code paragraphs can inherit the font size and the other paragraph types (Preformat and Heading) automatically inherit the font and can inherit the font size of section Formatting Elements or the Text Formatting Element. All other Topic PageFormatting Elements such as list and tables inherit the font name and can inherit the font size of section Formatting Elements or the Text Formatting Element. There are several setting for the page layout in each output format.
To change the page layout for the PDF or RTF document
On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Settings .
Click the PDF or RTF Configuration tab.
Select Files & Format > Page Layout.
Do one of the following:
Change margins.
Change the paper size.
Print as double-sided document.
Select Files & Format > Files & Folders > Watermark.
Find the image in your folders that you want to insert on each page in the background.
Use the Watermark Formatting Element to place the image.
To format HTML pages and set the Help window position
On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Settings .
Click a HTML Configuration tab.
Select Files & Format > Layout.
Do one of the following:
Select the Fixed header check box to fix your header.
Select Files & Format > Layout > Formatting.
Use the File Body and the Page Content Body, (or when fixing you header the File Body (fixed header), the Page Client Areas's Content (fixed header) and the Page Client Area (fixed header)Formatting Elements.
Click the HTML Help Configuration tab.
Select Files & Format > HTML Help > Project Options.
